Barcock male line

15. GENERATIONS MALE LINE
N.B. I would like to acknowledge here the work of Norman Ratcliffe who researched a Barcock family tree for Julia Barcock, born 1948, of Bedford. She is the cousin of Ted Barcock who supplied me with a copy of Norman's work. From this and my own research, mainly using the IGI, International genealogical Index on the LDS Web site, www.familysearch.org I was able to link my branch to the rest of the tree and confirm Norman Ratcliffe's work. Like him, I could not get further back than Johannis b. abt. 1570.
However, I have more recently been in contact with Adrienne Hall of Vancouver who discovered that we had a common ancestor in John Barcock (9). His daughter Mary, b.1818 was her 3x Great Grandmother. Adrienne discovered That Johannis was b.1567 and his father was Richard b. 1540. So I am back one more generation to Richard, b.1540 and the line now goes from him to my son Richard Steven, b. 1967.
